iPhone 8 Plus Camera Review PART 2

Taking photos of all the great Halloween costumes is a must and this year it was exciting to again try out the camera on the new IPhone 8 Plus. I had done a beginner’s review of the camera in a previous post which can be found here, but just discovered another cool feature that I wanted to share. Like I explained on the other post, there is a setting for taking portrait pictures on the iPhone 8 which my previous iPhone 6 did not have. I discovered that when you take a picture on this setting, you can then go into EDIT and change the photo to any of the 5 settings within that setting (Natural Light, Studio Light, Contour Light, Stage Light, and Stage Light Mono) In my first post I had a little trouble getting all of them to work correctly when taking separate photos with each setting. Now I am able to take just one picture and edit it to show up in each of these settings. For example, I put the camera at setting Natural Light and took this first photo.

I then Pressed EDIT. When I did this the same 5 circles pop up at the bottom of the picture and I am then able to scroll through them and choose of of the other settings, which changes the picture. The next picture below is a screen shot of the photo on the second setting Studio Light.
The next photo is the third setting, or Contour Light.
The next one is Stage Light.
And Finally Stage Light Mono.
These are all the same photos but with different settings applied using Edit. I had not realized this before and was trying to take different photos with the same setting. As long as you are using Portrait for a picture you can alter it. How cool is that!? These are all screen shots of the original photo. I am sure there are many new features I still have not yet discovered. If you have one, please share below! I would love to also see how the new IPhone X camera compares to this!
Happy Travels & Happy Halloween!
